The imperious Mentel-Spee took victory in the women's banked slalom SB-LL2 category in the Spanish resort to ensure she ended the season with an unbeaten record as she finished in a time of 1min 33.41sec.

The Dutchwoman has been in formidable form as of late, having won the snowboard cross event on Tuesday (February 24) to add to her Sochi 2014 gold medal.

She earned yet another comfortable win in La Molina ahead of Australia's Joady Badenhorst to consolidate her monopoly of women's Para-snowboarding.

Mentel-Spee's teammate Vos repeated the feat to ensure another afternoon of Dutch domination by clinching gold in the men's banked slalom SB-LL1 in a time of 1:36.41.

Russia's Serafim Pikalov finished his competition on a high as he added silver to the bronze he won in the snowboard cross, while Denmark's Daniel Jorgensen rounded off the top three.

Elsewhere, France's Cecile Hernandez-Cervellon enjoyed a return to her usual spot on top of the podium, recovering from the disappointment of suffering her first defeat of the season in midweek by claiming victory in the women's SB-LL1 category.

The French star crossed the line in a time of 1:39.76, enough to edge American pair Brenna Huckaby and Nicole Roundy.

The United States did manage to take home a gold medal from the bank slalom events as Mike Shea powered round the course in 1:23.80 to win the men's SB-LL2 category, 0.26 ahead of Paralympic champion and teammate Evan Strong, while Finland's Matti Suur-Hamari was third.

The result between the American teammates was an exact reverse to Sochi 2014 which saw Strong claim top spot, although he finished this competition with two silvers.

Great Britain's revelation Ben Moore looked to be on his way to a maiden gold medal before he lost out to Patrick Mayrhofer, who saved his best performance until last to seal the SB-UL men's world title in a time of 1:31.65.
