The pair won head-to-head golds in their respective categories on Saturday (January 16) and continued to impress on the Canadian slopes today.

Mentel-Spee of The Netherlands recorded 2min 29.69sec in her two runs to top Australia's Joany Badenhorst in the women's SB-LL2, with Dutch rider Lisa Bunschoten in third.

France's Hernandez-Cervellon skied to her fifth World Cup podium in a time of 2:52.91 in the women's SB-LL1, beating Nicole Roundy of the United States and local favourite Michelle Salt.

The Netherlands earned a second gold medal courtesy of Chris Vos in the men's SB-L11, as he finished the course in a time of 2:34.91.

Italy's Giuseppe Communale collected silver in 2:52.95 while Denmark's Daniel Jorgensen, a track and field European and Paralympic Games medallist, sealed his first podium of the season in third.

There was a first World Cup win of the season for New Zealand's Carl Murphy as he edged Finland's Matti Suur-Hamari by 0.27 seconds in the men's banked slalom SB-LL2.

The United States' Sochi 2014 bronze medallist Keith Gabel came in third.

The men's upper-impairment classification proved another close encounter with Austria's Patrick Mayrhofer getting the better of Ben Moore of Great Britain in what was a reverse of fortunes from the head-to-head contest.

Mayrhofer finished in 2:26.71 to secure his second banked slalom win of the season.

His time was 0.51 seconds ahead of Moore, with Italy's Manuel Pozzerle a further seven seconds adrift in third.

Riders now have just over month to finalise their preparations for La Molina 2015, which will feature over 80 riders from 20 countries competing in banked slalom and snowboard-cross head-to-head and time-trial events.
