Slalom world champion Vincent Gauthier-Manuel made it two wins in as many days in St Moritz after he followed up his victory yesterday with another top spot in the men's standing class.

Frenchman Gauthier-Manuel put a relatively disappointing season behind him to register a time of 1 min 08.26sec to finish clear of Russian Alexander Alyabyev and compatriot Cedric Amafroi-Broisat.

Multiple world champion Marie Bouchet maintained her 100 per cent record in St Mortiz by securing another win for France in the women's standing event.

A time of 1:18.40 was enough to see her finish over four seconds clear of nearest rival Andrea Rothfuss of Germany with Russia's Inga Medvedeva claiming the final podium spot.

While Rothfuss missed out on top spot, her compatriots Anna Schaffelhuber and Thomas Nolte dominated the sitting events.

Reigning world champion Schaffelhuber made it three wins form three this week by powering her way to victory in a time of 1:18.32 ahead of team-mate Anna-Lena Forster who clocked a time of 1:26.42.

Despite not posting the fastest time in his first run, Nolte put in an impressive second trip to record a time of 1:15.70 in the men's race, which was enough to see him overcome Croatia's Dino Sokolovic with Austrian Dietmar Dorn taking the bronze.

The visually impaired races saw wins for Slovakia and Russia.

Henrieta Farkasova and guide Natalia Subrtova made up for a disappointing run yesterday to top the podium in the women's race ahead of yesterday's winners Aleksandra Frantceva and guide Pavel Zabotin, while Melissa Perrine and guide Andrew Bor of Australia came home in third place.

However, Russia was not to be denied a top-of-the-podium finish on the day and Valerii Redzokubov and guide Evgeny Geroev duly delivered in the men's event, as they overcame the challenge of Slovakia's world champion Jakub Krako and guide Martin Motyka, while Russia completed the podium in the form of Ivan Frantsev and guide German Agranovskii.

With Sochi 2014 just a month away, attention now turns to the IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup Finals which are set for Tarvisio and due to run from February 24 to 27.
