Top-seed and world number three Reid secured a comfortable 6-2, 6-2 win over Argentine third-seed and world number five Gustavo Fernandez to seal his third career International Tennis Federation (ITF) Series 1 title.

The victory also handed Reid his third singles title of 2014 following wins at the Sydney International - his first Super Series triumph - and the ITF 2 Series Bolton Indoor tournament.

The women's singles title was won by Jiske Griffioen after she beat world number four and defending champion Aniek van Koot in an all-Dutch final.

In an extremely close encounter, world number three Griffioen edged her compatriot 6-3, 7-5 to take her second title of 2014 and the eleventh ITF 1 Series title of her career.

The win ensures Griffieon continues her remarkable winning streak in 2014 which has seen her win all but two games in the four tournaments she has entered.

Her two losses have been at the hands of Japan's world number two Yui Kamiji.

The final day of competition at the Cajun Classic also saw the men's and women's doubles action come to a close.

In two agonisingly close finals, the Dutch duo of Maikel Scheffers and Ronald Vink ran out 6-2, 3-6 victors against Joachim Gerard of Belgium and Nicolas Peifer of France
following a Championship tiebreak, while South Africa's Kgothatso Montjane and Britain's Jordanne Whiley secured their second career title together with a 7-6, 3-6 victory over Britain's Lucy Shuker and Germany's Sabine Ellerbrock.
