The fourth event on this year's Para-triathlon calendar, following races in Elwood, Australia; Yokohama, Japan; and Besancon, France, the races in London will them compete on the same Hyde Park course used last year's World Championships. 

Faye McClelland will be a big favourite going into the women's PT4 event as she looks to continue the form that saw her take gold at the ITU World Series event in Yokohama earlier this month.

The four-time world champion is currently unbeaten on the ITU Para-triathlon circuit and will hope to continue that run on the streets of London.

Fellow Briton Lauren Steadman will be one of those hoping to put an end to her teammates 100 per cent record after finishing second to McClelland in Yokohama earlier this month and in the 2013 World Triathlon Grand Final last year.

The event has extra significance as it marks another important on the road to Rio 2016 where the sport is due to make its debut in the Paralympics. 

British world champion Matthew Emmerson will be hoping to bounce back from his seventh place finish at the Yokohama Grand Series event as he continues to adapt to the highly competitive PT4 category.

The 27-year-old took gold in both the triathlon and aquathlon at the 2012 World Championships before defending his triathlon title in London last year.

He will face tough opposition from Frenchman Yannick Bourseaux who has hit the podium in the last two events and is likely to be the favourite without the likes of German world champion Martin Schulz toeing the starting line.

Jane Egan will look to continue her domination of the women's PT1 as the three-time world champion goes head-to-head with fellow Briton Karen Darke.

Italian Michele Ferrarin has continued to fair well after claiming the men's World Championship Tri-3 title last year and will be hoping to add to his Yokohama PT2 title with glory in London.

He is likely to face stiff competition from Frenchman Geoffrey Wersy.

Despite having raced less than a handful of times, Geer Schipper is making a name for himself after winning the PT1 division in Bescanon last weekend with the Dutch athlete looking to add to his accolades in Hyde Park tomorrow.

The Para-triathlon event is dueto begin in London at 8:00am.
