Korea sealed a double on the men's side of competition as Kim Younggun, Choi Ilsang and Kim Junggi secured the men's team class four title with victory over Poland, while Son Byeongjun, Kim Gitae and Lee Byoungha followed suit in class 11 as they were gifted a 3-0 walkover victory against France.

There was better luck for the French trio of Fabien Lamirault, Stéphane Molliens and Jean-François Ducay in class two as they recorded a 3-0 victory over South Korea to end the competition on top of the group and with the gold medal.

"It's my first World Championship, one gold medal is good enough, two is even better," said Lamirault.

"France is doing quite well in the World Championships, we now have three gold medals, better than the London Paralympic Games."

In the remaining men's team events, South Korea's Lee Changho, Cho Jaekwan and Nam Kiwon, and Germany's Holger Nikelis and Marcus Sieger remain unbeaten in the group stages of class one with the two squads set to met on the final day of competition tomorrow.

In class three, Germany's Thomas Schmidberger and Thomas Brüchle meet China's Feng Panfeng, Zhao Ping and Zhai Xiang in tomorrow's gold medal final, while China's Cao Ningning, Zhang Yan, Guo Xingyuan and Cao Heng take on Turkey's Abdullah Ozturk, Ali Ozturk and Nesim Turan in the final of class five.

The wheelchair classifications see Ukraine face off against Spain in class six-seven, China battle Poland for gold in class eight, and the same two nations gunning for gold in class nine-10.

On the women's side of competition, Maki Ito and Harumi Kimura ensured it was a golden day for Japan as they captured the class 11 team title with a 3-1 victory over Poland in the final fixture.

China look on course to capture many of those contests that were not decided today with finalists in the class one-two contest as well as in classes five, six-eight and nine-10.
