BISFed are due to stage four events in 2016 ©BISFedCountries interested in hosting events in the run-up to the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games are being invited to bid by the Boccia International Sports Federation (BISFed), it has been announced. 

Following the seven events scheduled for 2015, a further four are due to take place the year after.

As well as getting the opportunity to compete at the Paralympic Games, players from around the world will have three Boccia World Open Championships to choose from.

Those high enough in the rankings will also have the chance to take part at the Boccia World Individual Championships, the final opportunity for athletes to earn world ranking points ahead of Rio 2016.

The event, scheduled to be held no later than March 31, also grants the winner in each classification automatic qualification for the Paralympic Games. 

World ranking points from the Boccia World Open Championships, which are due to take place after April 1, will be added after Rio 2016.
