The second meeting of the season will take place in the Australian city of Brisbane, from March 6 to 8, following the series opener in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, between February 22 and 25.

The Tunisian capital of Tunis will stage Africa's only Grand Prix of the season from March 23 to 25, while April features events in the Chinese capital of Beijing, between April 18 and 20, and the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, from April 23 to 25.

Mesa in the United States will host its first IPC Athletics event on May 15 and 16, while Nottwil in Switzerland will close the month with an event which is traditionally seen as the world's best meeting for wheelchair racers between May 29 and 31.

Grosseto in Italy, the venue for the 2016 IPC Athletics European Championships, will stage its third successive Grand Prix from June 12 to 14, as will the German capital of Berlin between June 19 and 21.

The venue and date of the 10th event, the Grand Prix Final, is yet to be announced.

Since the Grand Prix series was launched in 2013, the events have grown in size, stature and competitiveness.

In 2013, 1,004 athletes from 67 countries took part, while in 2014 these numbers increased to 1,497 and 85 respectively.

"Following the success of the Grand Prix series since it was launched in 2013, we are delighted that in 2015 we will have more events than ever before giving Para-athletes in all five continents the chance to compete at the highest level," said Ryan Montgomery, head of IPC Athletics.

"Ten Grand Prix events will act as the perfect curtain raiser for October's World Championships in Doha and we believe by giving leading Para-athletes more opportunities to compete against each other, the net result will be much improved performances and great rivalries.

"Many of the Grand Prix are now firmly established on the Para-athletics calendar but in 2015 we will have an event in Australia for the first time.

"We look forward to working with event organisers to improve standards across the board and, most importantly, provide a strong and structured competition pathway on the road to Rio 2016."

In addition to the Grand Prix series, the 2015 IPC Athletics Marathon World Championships will be held in London on April 26, coinciding with the London Marathon.

The Qatari capital of Doha will stage the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships from October 22 to 31, and regionally, Para-athletics will also feature as one of 15 sports at August's Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games, which will bring together 28 competing countries.
