Competing in the T37 class, the 24-year-old Francois-Elie sprinted to 100 and 200 metres victories on home turf at last year's IPC World Championships in Lyon, after winning the 100m title the previous year in London.

She is due to compete over 100m and 400m in Swansea.

Like her teammate, Le Fur will also focus on the T44 400m in Swansea rather than the 100m event in which she won the London 2012 title.

The 25-year-old will also compete in the F44 long jump, an event she won silver in Lyon last August after taking a Paralympic bronze the year before in London.

France will be one of 40 countries competing at Swansea 2014 between August 18 to 23 in an competition which, in the absence of an IPC World Championships this year, will form the focal point of the year for many of the continent's finest stars.

Among other leading names in the French squad will be Arnaud Assoumani, the two-time long jump world champion, a medal contender once again in the F46 category.

In the flagship T54 wheelchair racing category meanwhile, Julien Casoli will go head-to-head with Switzerland's Marcel Hug and Great Britain's David Weir over all distances from 400m through to the 5,000m.

Tickets for the event to be held at Swansea University are now on-sale and can be purchased via the Swansea ticket website here.

Prices start from £3 ($5/€4) per session.
