January 13 - Six-time world champion Tatyana McFadden leads the names on the 2014 US Paralympics track and field squad ©AFP/Getty ImagesMulti world champions Tatyana McFadden and Raymond Martin lead the list of 42 athletes named to the US Paralympics track and field squad for 2014, where they are joined by eight more reigning world champions.

Three-time Olympic champion McFadden, currently trying to qualify for the US Nordic skiing team for Sochi 2014, last year became the first woman to win six titles at a single World Championships when she powered to gold in the 100 metres, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1,500m and 5,000m T54 events.

The 24-year-old also had a year on the road as she became the first athlete to complete the marathon Grand Slam following victories in London, Boston, Chicago and New York City.

Martin also created history at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships as he became the first male athlete to win five titles at a single event.

The four-time London 2012 champion went one better in Lyon by claiming five gold medals in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1,500m T52 events, which saw him named as the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) male Paralympic athlete of the year for the second time in-a-row.

The US team won 52 medals overall at last year's World Championships including 17 gold.

The other 2013 world champions to make this year's squad include the men's 4x100m relay team of Richard Browne, Blake Leeper, Jerome Singleton and Jarryd Wallace, who also took individual gold in the T44 200m.

They are joined by T53 800m champion Josh George, discus thrower Jeremy Campbell, long jumper Elexis Gillette and shot putter Cassie Mitchell.

The other names on the 43-strong squad include Jerome Avery, David Brown, Kate Callahan, Zena Cole, Tobi Fawehinmi, Rudy Garcia-Tolson, Tyson Gunter, Erik Hightower, April Holmes, Gianfranco Iannotta, Josiah Jamison, Joshua Kennison, Cheri Madsen, Centra Mazyck, Chelsea McClammer, Hannah McFadden, Amanda McGrory, Kerry Morgan, Dennis Ogbe, Markeith Price, David Prince, Austin Pruitt, Shirley Reilly, Scot Severn, Brian Siemann, Jeffrey Skiba, Rolland Slade, Scott Stokes, Casey Tibbs, Steven Toyoji, Shaquille Vance, Wes Williams and Scott Winkler.
