It will be the third and final series of films which were originally commissioned in the build-up to London 2012. 

South Africa's South Oscar Pistorius, who Peacock beat to win the T44 100 metres, will also feature in the series which is due to run all next week.

The others who will appear include Wales' Nathan Stephens, who was at the centre of controversy in the F57/58 javelin when he finished only tenth after he was ruled to have fouled on two of his three attempts, and Lee Pearson, the British dressage rider who lost his 12 year unbeaten record in Paralympic competiton, although he still won a gold, silver and bronze medal.

The line-up is completed by Yorkshire's Hannah Cockroft, who won the T34 100m and 200m. 

The series has been commissioned by Deborah Poulton, Channel 4 Paralympics Project Leader, and produced by Boomerang Plus in partnership with BT.

"We have just witnessed the most successful Paralympic Games in history," said Poulton.

"With incredible drama and high emotion for 11 days, we watched incredible athletes doing superhuman things.

"This content partnership with BT has allowed us to get up close and personal with five of these athletes and it is very exciting that we now get the chance to hear their innermost thoughts so soon after competition.

"These films will be a rare treat."

The films will be stripped across five days starting on Monday (October 1) at 7.55pm and will be repeated across the Channel 4 and More4 schedules as well as on www.paralympics.channel4.com.
