The IBSA will look to use this policy to deal with any issues that arise during their World Games in May, but they are awaiting the assistance of others before officially putting it in place.

Anyone who wants to be involved in the consultation has until the end of March 8 to submit their ideas and to share any concerns they may have over the draft policy.

The main theme of the document centres around sexual assault and sexual harassment as well as other harassment offences, although it will currently only include complaints that are made between two separate IBSA nations.

Seoul are due to host the IBSA World Games from May 8 to 18 in what looks set to be an exciting year for the organisation.

The World Games represent a major step on the road to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the fourth edition of the competition could be the biggest yet as around 1,000 blind and partially sighted athletes are due to compete across 10 disciplines.

Athletics, swimming, judo, goalball, blind football, partially sighted football, ten-pin bowling, showdown, powerlifting and chess will all be a part of the 10-day event.

The inaugural IBSA Central Asian Para Games will also take place this year, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, among a host of other competitions scheduled for the next 12 months.
