The three NPC websites aim to incorporate all the latest news, events and developments in the Paralympic Movement in those respective countries, targeting both audiences at the elite and grassroots levels, according to the IPC.

The Ecuadorian NPC website will be displayed in Spanish with the intention of building on a growing interest in Paralympic sport, particularly with the next two major multi-sport events being staged in the Americas, the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games and the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

"The website is a very important tool that we needed to continue to inform the general public how our Paralympic sports have been developing at a national and international level," said Ecuador Paralympic Committee President Bayron Lopez.

"Through the web, we can also share content related to education, inclusion, and athlete information, motivating everyone to support people with an impairment and become a part of the Paralympic Movement in Ecuador."

With a relatively strong tradition in Paralympic sports, Tunisia also has a new website dedicated to the Paralympic Movement.

Tunisia will host the eighth edition of the Tunis International Meeting in June, which forms part of the IPC's 2014 Athletics Grand Prix series.

At London 2012, Tunisian athletes won nine gold, five silver and five bronze medals.

"One of our main goals was to build a user-friendly and simple to navigate site," said secretary general of the Tunisian Paralympic Committee, Sonia Bidouh.

"The design allows the users to quickly find the contents, thanks to its soft hierarchical structure.

"We hope that you will enjoy browsing our new site, finding more options and information each time, and that it will be yet another tool for strengthening our sport regulations."

The National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia will hope its new website continues to raise awareness of the Paralympic Movement in the country and help build on table tennis player David Jacobs' bronze medal at London 2012.

The APC micro-site can be found on the IPC's website and it is hoped that with the build-up to Toronto 2015 and Rio 2016, interest in Paralympic sport will grow by information being given on upcoming events and development workshops across the 28 countries represented by the APC.
