jessica ennis_ba_video_24-01-12January 29 - Leading London 2012 hopes, including Jessica Ennis (pictured), are sharing exercise techniques in a wellbeing video which will be viewed by customers using British Airways.

The ten minute film features Ennis, who missed out on retaining her world heptathlon title earlier this year when she had to settle for the silver medal, the Beijing 2008 Olympic pommel horse bronze medallist Louis Smith and Paralympic double medallist Shelly Woods demonstrating in flight exercises for passengers.

The video will be viewed from February on BA flights, and the company's sponsorship manager Luisa Fernandez said: "We're proud to be using some of our Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in this wellbeing video.

"With their sporting backgrounds they are perfectly placed to share their exercise techniques to enhance the in-flight experience.

"As the official airline of Team GB and ParalympicsGB, we will be flying athletes to and from training camps in the coming months, so they will benefit from the wellbeing video too."

Some of the exercises include ankle circles and walking on the spot, as well as shoulder stretches and neck release movements.

The exercise video fits in with BA's other in-flight health and wellbeing efforts, which include a relaxation podcast and other techniques to combat jetlag.

BA last week announced that they would be repainting some of their fleet in the Olympic colours and with a new dove design to celebrate London 2012.
