BT London_Live_4_AugustAugust 4 - Bradley Wiggins, Great Britain's most decorated Olympian, was afforded a vociferous hero's welcome by a packed out, 50,000-strong crowd when he dropped in at BT London Live in Hyde Park today.

"Wiggo", whose victory in the time trial took his Olympic medal haul to seven, including four golds, was the latest in a stream of Team GB medal winners and athletes who have been appearing daily on stage at the London Mayor's free live site.

Judo medallists Gemma Gibbons, who claimed silver, and Karina Bryant, who picked up a bronze, were due to appear later on today.

Over the coming days a host of other British medal winners are expected to grace the Hyde Park stage.

Shooting gold medallist Richard Wilson, along with canoe slalom champions Etienne Stott and Tim Baillie and runners-up David Florence and Richard Hounslow, popped along to meet the fans yesterday.

The popular BT London Live sites have been set up to allow Londoners and visitors to the capital to catch all the Olympic sporting action on giant screens while enjoying live music and entertainment from some of the country's top performers – including Rebecca Ferguson, Amy MacDonald and McFly; they can also indulge themselves in a range of exciting have-a-go sporting activities and try out the Great Games Zone.
