The announcement of the award was timed to coincide with Queen Elizabeth's 88th birthday and is in recognition of JTA's  impressive recent growth in revenue and number of clients from outside the United Kingdom.

JTA clients include Sochi 2014, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), the

International Olympic University (RIOU), the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).

It has also worked with Munich 2018 and Istanbul 2020.

A Queen's Award, given on the advice of  British Prime Minister David Cameron and his Advisory Committee, is designed to recognise and encourage the achievements of businesses in the UK.

JTA was specifically awarded The Queen's Award for the company's increased exports as a
percentage of turnover from 47 per cent to 68 per cent over the last three years and for achieving overseas earnings growth in international sport, in particular the Olympic Movement.
