Ashgabat 2017 has signed up Turkmen Ak Yol (TAY) as an official supporter of next month's Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG).

The company offers freight services in Turkmenistan and will work closely with organisers of the Games in the country's capital city.

They will work on logistics and customs clearance services for Ashgabat 2017.

"We are delighted to welcome TAY Logistics to the Ashgabat 2017 family," said Dayanch Gulgeldiyev, the chairman of the AIMAG Executive Committee.

"It is great to see local companies joining the Games and providing essential services to what will be the best ever AIMAG.

"September will be an historic moment for Turkmenistan, made even greater by the support of local brands across the board."

Ashgabat 2017 is set to feature 21 sports in 15 venues during 12 days of competition.

"It's a big challenge for us and we are extremely proud to bring a wealth of our expertise to the logistics operations of Ashgabat 2017," said TAY director Batyr Alladurdyyev.

"The Games will be an immense celebration of international sport, which is a unique opportunity to show once again that Turkmenistan, under the wise leadership of our esteemed President, has the possibility to host major multi-sport events at the best international standards."
