The team of Tan Ya-Ting, Le Chien-Ying and Peng Chia-Mao overcame Ki Bo-bae, Chang Hye-jin and Choi Misum 5-3 to take the title at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Centre.

China beat Mexico by the same scoreline to clinch the bronze medal.

"The big encouragement we got after our last gold medal in Antalya helped us to continue getting stronger and to get here better results than in Antalya in terms of scores, performances and skills," said Tan. 

"These two gold medals are a big achievement for us and give us a lot of confidence."

Chinese Taipei were denied a clean sweep of the team titles on offer in Salt Lake City as their men were beaten by Russia in the final.

The team of Vitalii Popov, Arsalan Baldanov and Artem Makhnenko proved too strong for Deng Yu-Cheng, Peng Shih-Cheng and Wei Chun-Heng with a 5-1 victory.

Malaysia were the recipients of the bronze medal, ousting Mexico 6-2.

South Korea were able to enjoy some success on the final day of the event as they claimed both the individual recurve gold medals.

Olympic women's champion Chang got one over on Chinese Taipei's Tan with a commanding display to emerge with a comfortable 7-1 win.

Chang's team-mate Choi earned bronze by defeating Spain's Alicia Marin 6-2.

"I did well here in Salt Lake City. In the qualification, I was first out of all the women and the men," said Chang. 

"It was a good start and then it ended with me in  the final.

“Now I have it [the gold medal| here with me, so I’m really satisfied.”

South Korea were guaranteed victory in the men's final as Im Dong-hyun took on compatriot Kim Woo-jin.

It was Im who came out on top as he secured the title with a narrow 6-5 win.

Chinese Taipei's Weng clinched the final spot on the podium, emerging on the right side of a 6-4 scoreline in his clash with Marcos D'Almeida of Brazil.
