Sarah Sonnichsen of Denmark claimed victory in the women's compound final at the Archery World Cup in Antalya today.

She defeated team-mate Tanja Jensen at the Antalya Archery Club Field in Turkey.

Jensen had ended the 31 match winning streak of Colombia's Sara Lopez with a shock victory in the semi-finals yesterday.

However, the Dane failed to follow that up in today's final agonisingly losing 142-141 to her compatriot.

Lopez responded to losing her unbeaten record by taking the bronze medal today.

The world number one eased to a 146-138 victory over Iran's Parisa Baratchi.

In the men's compound, Chen Hsiang-Hsuan of Chinese Taipei prevailed in the final after edging Steve Anderson of the United States 144-141.

Braden Gellenthien ensured a silver and bronze finish for the US after he edged Sergio Pagni of Italy 145-144 to take third place.

There was further success for Jensen and Sonnichsen in the women's compound team event.

The Danish duo were joined by Erika Anear as they defeated Colombia 231-227 in the final.

Italy took the bronze medal after beating India 227-222.

Danish dominance filtered through to the men's team compound event as they beat the US 233-230 to win gold.

France narrowly took bronze after edging India 228-227.

A third team gold for Denmark arrived in the mixed competition as Sonnichsen and Stephan Hansen combined to beat Chinese Taipei's Chen and Chen Hsiang-Hsuan 157-150.

India defeated Italy 154-153 to take bronze.

Action in Antalya is due to conclude tomorrow with the recurve finals.
