Tickets have gone on sale for next month's International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) European Championships in Tenerife.

Competition will take place on the Spanish island between June 21 and 30 with ticket prices staring at €3 (£2.50/$3.35).

A full pass for the tournament is also available for €35 (£30/$39).

Tenerife was announced as the host of the tournament - which will feature men's and women's events - in October.

The Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Physical Impairment have been tasked with organisation.

As well as the start of ticket sales, a new website for the tournament has been launched which can be found here.

The biennial event was last held in 2015 at the University of Worcester in England.

Great Britain will be looking to defend their men's title which they won on home soil after an 87-66 win over Turkey.

It meant they won the continental crown for the third tournament in a row.

In Tenerife, they have been placed in Group B alongside Turkey, Germany, Israel, Sweden and Lithuania.

Group A contains hosts Spain, The Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Switzerland and France.

Matches will be played at the Pabellón Las Torres and Pabellón Polideportivo Municipal de Adeje venues.

In the women's tournament, Germany are the defending champions.

They reclaimed the title from The Netherlands in Worcester, beating the Dutch 72-62 in the final.

Only one group will be played, featuring both of last year's finalists as well as Spain, Britain, Turkey and France.
