The International Fistball Association (IFA) have announced they are seeking bids from countries interested in staging one major event next year and two in 2020.

The IFA Board of Directors have launched the process to find hosts for the 2018 Under-18 World Championships, the 2020 Under-18 World Championships and the 2020 Women's World Championships.

A deadline of May 21 has been set by the sport's worldwide governing body for nations to submit a bid for next year's under-18 competition.

The IFA have confirmed the United States has already expressed an interest in the 2018 Fistball Under-18 World Championships, which features a men's and a women's tournament.

July 10 to 15 are the preferred dates for the 2018 under-18 event as the Women's World Championship is scheduled to take place in Austria from July 24 to 28.

The event for under-18s was most recently held in 2016 in Nuremberg in Germany.

Member Federations who wish to enter the running for the tournaments in 2020 have until May 31 to provide an expression of interest in bidding, including a potential date.

"Bids will be reviewed by the IFA Sports Commission with input from the IFA Youth Commission and the IFA Women's Commission, with final approval upon their recommendation by the IFA Board of Directors," the IFA said in a statement.

"IFA will provide all potential bidders showing interest the same support to prepare their bidding document."

The IFA have also announced they will begin a search for hosts of the 2018 World Tour Final and the 2018 Masters World Cup by the end of next month.
