World number two David Wagner of the United States has made it through to the quad singles final at the Cajun Classic in Baton Rouge after defeating South Africa’s Lucas Sithole today.

Wagner was a comfortable winner, claiming a 6-4, 6-4 straight sets win, and he will now face Great Britain's Andy Lapthorne in the final after he claimed a 6-0, 7-6 victory over Australia’s Heath Davidson.

The men's and women's singles competitions both resumed today in the quarter-finals stage, following a rest day.

Great Britain's Alfie Hewett made it through to the last four of the men's event after coasting past Brazilian Daniel Rodrigues 6-2, 6-3.

World number seven Stefan Olsson of Sweden was also among those to reach the semi-finals, having beaten American Casey Ratzlaff 6-0, 6-1.

In the women’s singles, the Netherland’s Marjolein Buis triumphed 6-1, 6-3 against the United States’ Dana Mathewson.

Buis is joined in the last four by her compatriot and doubles partner Aniek Van Koot.

She brushed aside American Shelby Baron 6-0, 6-1.

There was further action in the men's and women's doubles competitions.

Hewett capped off a successful day as he and Maikel Scheffers of The Netherlands were the first pairing into the men's final as they defeated the South Korean duo Sung-Bong Han and Ha-Gel Lee 6-1, 6-4.

They will now face South Africa’s Evans Maripa and Stefan Olsson of Sweden after they eased to a 6-2, 6-2 win over Argentina’s Ezequiel Casco and Brazil’s Daniel Rodrigues.

In the women's doubles event the Dutch duo of Buis and Van Koot came from a set down to defeat Baron and Japan’s Manami Tanaka.

Baron and Tanaka took the lead, winning the opening set 4-6.

Buis and Van Koot were soon level, taking the second set 6-3 which forced to the contest into a decider.

It was the European pairing who secured their place in the final, however, taking the third 10-5.

They will now meet Britain’s Lucy Shuker and Dana Mathewson of the United States in the final after they beat Germany's Katharina Kruger and Kgothatso Montjane of South Africa 6-4, 6-1.
