Wales have made a number of appointments for next year's Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, they have announced.

Joining general team manager and media lead Ashleigh Crowter, will be Elliw Williams, currently Commonwealth Games Wales public relations consultant.

She will be responsible for media liaison and content.

Jess Magness who will be responsible for the "medal run" as Team Wales athlete media liaison.

Murry Toms who will be in charge of Team Wales' social media production.

Doctors Katherine Guy and Nicholas Roach will be joining previously appointed chief medical officer Dr Gareth Jones on the medical team.

They will be assisted by eight physiotherapists, led by lead physiotherapist Sian Knott. 

Joining Knott will be Dan Jones, Dan Grimstead, Hannah Williams, Emma Fox, Liba Sheeran, Adam Rattenbury, Rhys Shorney, Nikki Mcloughlin.

Wales won a total of 36 medals at Glasgow 2014, including five gold, their best performance since Manchester 2002.
