Five nations secured gold medals today as the International Skating Union (ISU) Short Track World Cup leg closed in Minsk.

South Korea, who claimed victories yesterday, continued their good form by winning two of them.

Kim Ye-jin crossed the line in a time of 43.842sec in the women's 500 metres.

Arianna Fortune of Italy was second, 0.17 behind, while Yara van Kerkhof of The Netherlands took bronze in 44.093.

Lim Yong-jin then claimed the 2018 Winter Olympic hosts' second first place finish of the day by winning the men's 1,000m.

He clocked 1:26.195 to finish clear of Thibaut Fauconnet of France, who managed 1:26.195.

Nurbergen Zhumagaziyev of Kazakhstan finished third in 1:26.542.
