The public were given an opportunity to engage with the event by participating in several sports in the Czech Republic capital, with several stations having been set up throughout the square.

Wheelchair basketball, table tennis, hockey, golf and rugby were among the sports which the local population were able to try.

The Parade of Nations also took place in the centre of the city, with all 30 countries participating in the Games represented at the special event.

Following yesterday’s classification days, athletes have also begun practicing for their events at the competition venues.

Swimmers were able to train at the Aquacentre Šutka, due to host competition tomorrow and Saturday (July 2).

Three other sports are also set to be contested, with athletics, table tennis and wheelchair fencing all taking place at the Stadion Mládeže.

Both athletics and table tennis are scheduled to take place tomorrow, with wheelchair fencing then comes to the fore the following day.

The 12th edition of the Games, the third to be held in Czech Republic, are offering one of the last opportunities for the athletes to meet qualifying standards for this years Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

The Closing Ceremony of the annual event is set to take place on Saturday.
