Serbia will look to complete the defence of their International Swimming Federation (FINA) Water Polo World League title tomorrow after beating Italy to reach the Super Final’s gold medal match in Huizhou.

The holders claimed a 7-4 victory over the Italians at the t the Huizhou Jinshan Lake Swimming and Diving Hall and will now go on to face the United States, who beat Group A winners Greece 17-16 after a 6-5 shootout win.

The final will be a repeat of the Group B decider on Thursday (June 23), when the Serbians triumphed 10-8.

In today’s other matches, Japan beat Brazil 12-10 and Australia defeated hosts China 15-4 with the victors earning a place in tomorrow’s fifth-place playoff.

Brazil and China will contest the seventh-place playoff, while the bronze medal match pits Italy against Greece.

The final will round off tomorrow's proceedings as Serbia aim to secure a fourth consecutive crown.
