May 3 - Registration for the SportAccord Convention 2012 is set to close tomorrow, with the last remaining places available to delegates making the trip to Québec City later this month.

The 10th edition of the annual convention is taking place at the Québec City Convention Centre from May 20 until 25.

Registration is available at www.sportaccordconvention.com until the end of tomorrow for the Convention, which brings together some of the Olympic and sporting world's key figures, from international sports federations to organising committees of major events.

Among the speakers at this year's convention will be Court of Arbitration for Sport vice-president Michael Lenard, Allison Melangton, the President and chief executive of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee and United States Olympic Committee chief executive Scott Blackmun.

"We are nearly at our absolute limit for being able to accommodate any more people," said Anna Hellman, executive director of SportAccord Convention.

"It is essential that anyone seeking to join us in Québec, who has still not registered, do so immediately - this includes press wanting to cover the event."

Last year's convention was held in London, whilst 2013's event will head to St Petersburg, rather than Sochi as had been originally planned.
