USOC_HQMay 13 - The Team USA shop at the United States Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs will celebrate its grand reopening next week with the first 500 shoppers receiving free gifts.

The 2010 Olympic bobsledder Emily Azevedo, a silver and bronze World Championship bronze medallist, will be on hand to sign autographs from 10-11am with Curt Tomasevicz, a member of the four-man bobsleigh team that won the gold medals in Vancouver last year, joining her in the afternoon from 3-4pm.

The shop was renovated to improve the experience for visitors, and features new United States Olympic Committee (USOC) products and apparel from Nike and Outerstuff.

USOC managing director of consumer products Peter Zeytoonjian said: "We are excited to offer new Team USA merchandise and feature the new USOC brand in the renovated Team USA Shop."

"The store's new look enhances the visitor experience at the US Olympic Training Cente and offers a wide variety of Nike and Outerstuff gear, along with additional licensed products, which are available just in time to help fans support Team USA during the patriotic summer holidays."

Staples Promotional Products have teamed up with USOC to manage the shop, and Staples' Donna Armstrong said: "Staples Promotional Products is proud to partner with the USOC on their retail store.

"The Team USA Shop is a great reflection of the USOC's commitment to their brand.

"We feel we are in the best position to support the USOC and their Partners with this new level of engagement.

"Partnering with Nike, Outerstuff and other licensees will give sponsors the edge they need and expect to activate their sponsorship with hip, fresh merchandise."

The shop, on E. Boulder Street, will be open from 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm on Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays.

They will also have extended hours during the Warrior Games, taking place next week.
