Two Uzbek gold medallists from last year's Asian Para Games in Jakarta have been stripped of their titles after failing drugs tests.

Long jumper Abdullaeva Kamolakhon and judoka Mirzaev Nurbek have both been sanctioned by organisers the Asian Paralympic Committee.

The pair were both found guilty following hearings and will now face bans.

Kamolakhon competed in the T54/46/47 women's long jump in the Indonesian capital and tested positive for methasterone after a urine test on October 8.

Known by the nickname superdrol, the drug has never been available through medical channels and has instead been sold unofficially as a "designer steroid".

Lallwala Palliyagurunnans Amara Indumathi Karunathi of Sri Lanka has been upgraded to the gold medal with Bornaki Zahra now taking silver.

Another Sri Lankan in Dissanayaka Mudiyanselage Kumudu Priyanka is now the bronze medallist.

Nurbek failed for anabolic steroid nandrolone after providing a test on October 9.

He forfeits his gold in the 81 kilograms division with Lee Jungmin of South Korea now the champion.

No silver medallist will now be in the record books with Jafari Seyed Omid of Iran and Japan's Kitazone Aramitsu both taking bronze.
