Czech Republic kept up their hopes of progress at the Women's European Lacrosse Championship with a comprehensive victory over Spain in Israeli city Netanya.

The Czechs stormed to a 23-3 triumph at Tubruq Field, extending to three matches their winning run and boosting their bid to secure the one spot in the quarter-finals available from Group C.

Austria kept the pressure on with a third victory out of four, defeating Sweden 17-3.

In Group B, which also only allows one team to progress to the quarter-finals, Norway kept alive their hopes with a 10-8 win over Italy, while Latvia edged out Switzerland 9-8.

The top four teams from Group A advance, the top two to the semi-finals and third and fourth to the quarter-finals.

England grabbed their fourth victory in as many games in sinking Wales 11-6, while Ireland beat Germany, who are without a point, 11-8.
