Denmark and Norway have qualified for the IFF Women's World Championships ©IFF

All 10 European places at the International Floorball Federation (IFF) Women's World Championships have now been awarded following the final day of qualifiers in Gdansk and Trencin.

World number one Sweden, Czech Republic, Poland and Finland had already qualified, leaving six places up for grabs today. 

With Sweden progressing from Group One, the game between Norway and Denmark would decide which team would qualify in second. 

Denmark went 1-0 up at Gdansk's AWFiS Arena through Caroline Christoffersen before Norway equalised through Eline Dagestad.

Two goals from Rikke Ingebrigtsli Hansen and another from Sofie Kristiansen saw Norway emerge as 4-1 winners and qualify for the World Championships.

The rest of today's results went Denmark's way and meant the qualified as one of two best third place teams.

Slovakia defeated Latvia 5-3 in front of a home crowd in Trencin to see both teams progress from Group Four.

Germany defeated Russia 8-4 to qualify from Group Two.

Estonia qualified as the second best third place team following a 9-1 win against Belgium. 

The IFF Women's World Championships are due to take place in Neuchâtel in Switzerland between December 7 and 15.
