Markswomen from Czech Republic and Chinese Taipei each claimed individual success today on day three at the World University Shooting Championship in Kuala Lumpur.

Czech star Gabriela Vognarova finished superbly to win the 10 metres air rifle competition with a total score of 249.4 points at the Subang International Shooting Range.

India's Meghana Mallikarjun Sajjanar shot 248.5 for second place.

Her team-mate Elavenia Valarivan managed 226.5 for bronze.

Having claimed two gold medals yesterday, Italian hopes were high for further success at the Subang International Shooting Range.

The silver and bronze medal winning duo combined with Trisha Mukherjee to win the corresponding team event with a score of 1193-96x.

Russia managed silver with 1188-92x while Czech Republic scored 1187-97 for bronze.

Chinese Taipei's Yu Aiwen then shot 237.6 to win the 10m air pistol final.

Wang Xiaoyu of China finished second with 236.4 while Oh Hyunjeong of South Korea shot 218.2 to complete the East Asian clean sweep.

Oh combined with Kim Woori and Hwang Yuri to win the team competition with 1142-31x points.

China shot 1135-23x for silver and bronze went to hosts Malaysia with 1131-19x.
