The US have won just one Winter Olympic medal in curling.

It came during Turin 2006 when the men’s team led by Pete Fenson beat Great Britain 8-6 in the bronze medal match.

They have tasted more success in the World Curling Championships, where the US have won three titles.

However, the last of these came in 1976.

The country's best result in wheelchair curling at the Winter Paralympics was a fourth-place finish at Vancouver 2010, when they lost the bronze medal match 7-5 to Sweden.
