Kalamazoo in Michigan has been named as host of USA Curling's National Championships in 2019.

Competition will take place at the Wings Event Center to follow previous events hosted by Kalamazoo in 2010 and 2015.

"From the first time we took the USA Curling Nationals there in 2010, Kalamazoo has been an exceptional destination for these Championships," said Rick Patzke, USA Curling's chief executive.

"As the Kalamazoo slogan says, 'you'll be back, we promise'.

"With Discover Kalamazoo and the Kalamazoo Curling Club as core partners again, coupled with the dedicated staff at Wings Event Center, I have no doubt that these Nationals will be even better than the first two held there."

The week-long event is expected to serve as the primary qualifier for the World Championships held later in 2019.
