Great Britain's Seonaid McIntosh claimed the women's 50 metres rifle three positions title at the European Shooting Championships in Baku, just three days after elder sister Jennifer triumphed in the women's 50m rifle prone event.

McIntosh came out on top with a total of 458.5 points at the Olympic Shooting Range in Azerbaijan’s capital city.

Austria’s Franziska Peer finished in second place with 457.3 points, followed by Germany’s Jolyn Beer with 444.5.

Jennifer McIntosh, who won her gold medal on Monday (July 24), finished fifth with 423 points.

The sisters also played their part in Britain winning gold in the team event alongside Katie Gleeson.

The trio accumulated 1,722 points with Ukraine and France, the silver and bronze medallists respectively, just one behind.

"Shooting is our family business - my father is my coach, mummy is also a shooter and we are both shooting," Seonaid McIntosh said.

"I can't say who of us is a better athlete or shooter, sometimes me, sometimes Jennifer.

"It is very cool when we are both champions."
