Anastasiya Serdyukova was the dominant athlete at the at the ninth Senior Rhythmic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Astana as she won the all-around title and two of the four apparatus golds.

In claiming her all-around win at the Daulet National Tennis Center in the Kazakhstani capital, the Uzbekistan gymnast finished first in all four of the disciplines, scoring 17.600 points on the hoop, 18.400 with the ball, 17.750 with the clubs and 17.900 with the ribbon for a total of 71.650.

Japan’s Kaho Minagawa took silver in the all-around, finishing second in the ball exercise with 17.900, third with the ribbon with scores of 16.600 and 16.400 respectively and fifth with the clubs, where she got 16.550 to earn a total of 67.450.

Sabina Tashkenbaeva of Uzbekistan claimed bronze in the all-around with a total of 65.600

Serdyukova added the the clubs and ribbon apparatus finals golds to her haul, taking the first with 18.050 before topping the other podium with her score of 17.750.

Sabrina Ashirbaeva produced two home golds in the apparatus final Individuals as she scored 17.600 in the ball exercise and 17.550 with the hoop.

In the apparatus groups final, Japan dominated, winning both the the two ropes and three balls and the five hoops elements.

In the first final, they scored 17.700 ahead of China, who scored 15.550, and hosts Kazakhstan, who totalled 15.100.

In the five hoops, their total was 18.350, putting them in front of Uzbekistan, who scored 16.750, while China claiming the bronze with 16.500.
