A 77-37 win over Brazil was followed by a 71-53 success against Iran.

Italy were then dispatched 72-37 before a 70-38 victory over Canada.

Australia will be the final pool stage opponents for the Turks as they continue to recover 72-68 loss to Iran in their opening match.

They were also pushed hard by Italy before a 60-53 overtime win.

Hosts and 1997 and 2001 champions Canada have suffered a mixed tournament after also losing 62-58 to Australia.

But a 66-35 success over Italy followed by a narrow 68-59 win against Iran means they should still progress to the quarter-finals.

United States, winners in 2005 and 2009, have endured a frustrating time in Pool B. 

They lost their first four matches before a consolation 76-17 thrashing of South Africa today.

Great Britain defeated them 87-50 before defending champions Germany emerged 75-51 winners.

Further defeats followed against France, 62-54, and Japan, 64-57.

Japan, Germany and Britain have all lost just one match apiece so far.

Japan edged a thrilling opener 61-59 against Britain, who swiftly hit back with a 60-49 success over the Germans.

Germany then showed improving form to end Japan's unbeaten streak 72-58 today.

Competition is due to continue until Friday (June 16).
