Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) President Demchigjav Zagdsuren has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mayor of Incheon, Yoo Jeong Bok.

The MoU, which was signed at Mongolia's Olympic House, concerns the Vision 2014 invitational training programme.

The initiative was established as a result of South Korean city Incheon's hosting of the 2014 Asian Games, with the programme's first year taking place in 2007.

It is designed to allow other Asian nations to benefit from having the same training facilities as South Korean athletes.

The programme arranges for countries to organise training events for athletes in Incheon, using the city’s facilities.

As part of the MoU, Mongolia hopes to send wrestlers to Incheon during the off-season to enable them to train in better conditions.

Six wrestlers and a coach are expected to take part in the programme later this year.

Mongolian cyclists and weightlifters have taken part in the Vision 2014 programme in the past.

It is hoped the agreement will establish a "close and cooperative relationship" between the MNOC and the city of Incheon.
