Greece's Panagiotis Mantis and Pavlos Kagialis saw their men’s 470 lead cut to one point at the Sailing World Cup in Hyères today.

Australia's Mat Belcher and Will Ryan, the Olympic silver medallists are second, now lie one point behind after second and third place finishes today.

The women’s 470 standings are even tighter, with Dutch sailors Afrodite Zegers and Anneloes van Veen now sharing the lead.

Switzerland’s Linda Fahrni and Maja Siegenthaler join them at the top of the standings on 15 points.

The close contests continue with the men’s 49er event, with Britain’s Dylan Fletcher-Scott and Stu Bithell holding a slender two point advantage over Spain's Diego Botin and Iago Lopez.

Brazil’s Martine Soffiatti Grael and Kahena Kunze have established a comfortable lead in the women’s 49erFX competition.

The pair are 10 points clear of Victoria Jurczok and Anika Lorenz, despite the Germans winning all three races contested today.
