Top seed Jung Young-sik will be aiming for success on home soil at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Korean Open, with the main draw beginning tomorrow.

The 25-year-old, the world number eight, will begin his campaign with a first round clash against Hunor Szocs at the Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon.

The quadruple World Championship bronze medallist will face competition for the title from Chinese Taipei's second seed Chih-Yuan Chuang.

He will open his account against Anton Kallberg of Sweden in the first round.

Germany's Timo Boll, seeded third, will head the European challenge and is set to face another South Korean home hopeful in Jeongwoo Park.

The women's draw will feature five of the top 10 players in the world with Singapore's number three ranked Tianwei Feng the top seed.

The triple Olympic medallist willl face Saki Shibata of Japan in round one.

World number four Kasumi Ishikawa of Japan, seeded second in Incheon, has been drawn against Yihan Zhou of Singapore.

Third seed Cheng I Ching of Chinese Taipei, the world number five, will begin against Miyu Maeda of Japan.

Competitions in men's and women's doubles will also take place in Incheon.

The event, which is part of the ITTF World Tour, will conclude on April 23.
