Todd Minikus of the United States went double clear to win the last leg of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) World Cup Jumping North American League season in Ocala.

The home rider, on board Babalou, triumphed after a jump-off at the Florida venue which featured 18 horse-and-rider combinations.

Five pairings went clear again in the jump-off, but it was Minikus who recorded the quickest time of 47.77sec.

"I could have the reputation of going maybe a little too fast, once in a while," said Minikus.

"I was basically not trying to turn too tight or make a silly mistake by going too fast.
