France's Jean Frederic Chapuis was declared the winner for the second straight day at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Cross World Cup in Feldberg, as weather played havoc in Germany.

Persistent snow and wind meant that the women's event was cancelled as organisers could not complete a full phase of competition.

In the men's event, preliminary heats were completed to allow a result, although no further stages of the competition could take place.

It meant the result was decided by World Cup standings, combined with the outcome of the first round of heats.

This resulted in Chapuis again winning after his success at the first competition yesterday, with Slovenia's Filip Fisar second.

Switzerland's Alex Fiva was given third place, the same position he finished yesterday.

It means that Chaphuis, the Sochi 2014 Olympic champion, has now won five of the 10 World Cup events held this season.

He has 669 points in the overall standings, with Fiva on 504 and Canada's Brady Leman third on 487.

The Ski Cross World Cup season will resume in Idre in Sweden on February 11.
