Walter Ray Williams Jr. has become the first player in history to win 100 Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) titles.
The 57-year-old American reached the landmark alongside Dennis Lane and Dick Allen, with the threesome winning the Decker Appraisal Services Baker Trios title at Valley Lanes in Harrisonburg.
Williams, a three-time world champion and a member of the PBA Hall of Fame, had been tied with Pete Weber on 99 career victories.
He has now won 10 PBA50 regional titles, to go along with his 47 PBA Tour titles, 32 PBA regional titles and 11 PBA50 Tour titles.
His trio defeated Kenny Parks, Dale Csuhta and Kyle Troup to make it to 100 in the Valley Lanes final.
"It was quite amazing watching Walter Ray strike in the 10th to win his 100th title," said Troup to bowlingdigital.
Weber is also a member of the Hall of Fame.
