Belgium thumped Poland to continue their unbeaten run at the European Korfball Championships on the fourth day of competition in the Dutch city of Dordrecht.

Germany and Portugal were other winners today as they repeated their respective victories yesterday.

Belgium, silver medal winners behind The Netherlands at the last edition of the Championships in 2014, romped past Poland 33-10.

They were held close at 4-3 early on before a five-point run saw them ease clear.

Kathleeen Verlaak scored seven times while there were five each for Zahra Verhoeven, Christophe Hellemans and Kathleen Verlaak.

In total, 11 players registered on the scoresheet in the mixed team format.

Germany were equally comfortable winners, 25-11 over Russia.

Anna Schulte and Steffen Heppekausen each scored four times in an impressive team effort.

Portugal, fourth place finishers in 2014, also enjoyed another good day after a 20-10 victory against Czech Republic.

Tiago Luz led the scoring charts with five.
