The host nation will be aiming to win all five titles at the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Victor Korea Open after ensuring a presence in every final in Seoul today.

South Korean presence in the men's singles final at the Super Series event was already assured due to two of the country's stars, Son Wan-ho and Lee Hyun-il, squaring off in the last four.

It was sixth seed Son who triumphed in three games, with the 28-year-old beating the veteran former World Championships bronze medallist 21-13, 14-21, 21-10.

He will now go for the title against China's unseeded player Qiao Bin, who ended the run of Hong Kong's Wong Wing Ki, 21-18, 21-16.

In the women's competition an all-South Korean semi-final once again guaranteed home progression, and it was fifth seed Sung Ji-hyun who eased through against team-mate Kim Hyo-min, 21-5, 21-10.

She will now play Japan's former double world junior champion Akane Yamaguchi, after the seventh seed beat her compatriot Minatsu Mitani 21-17, 21-11.

In the men's doubles, Korean progression was achieved by top seeds Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-seong, who came through against Huang Kaixiang and Wang Yilu of China, 21-11, 21-16.

They will now meet another Chinese pair, seventh-seeded Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen, in the final, after their 18-21, 21-15, 21-13 win against Malaysia's Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong.

South Korea's women's doubles top seeds Jung Kyung-eun and Shin Seung-chan also reached the final as they beat compatriots Chang Ye-na
and Lee So-hee 23-21, 21-15.

Their reward is a clash with China's Luo Ying and Luo Yu, who ended European interest by beating Denmark's Christinna Pedersen and Kamilla Rytter Juhl, 21-15, 17-21, 21-12.

The mixed final will pit South Koreans Ko Sung-hyun and Kim Ha-na, the top seeds, against China's Zheng Siwei and Chen Qingchen.

The home pair came from behind to beat Malaysia's Chan Peng Soon and Goh Liu Ying, 15-21, 21-14, 21-15, with the Chinese duo seeing off Hong Kong's Lee Chun Hei and Chau Hoi Wah 21-16, 21-18.
