The World Curling Federation’s (WCF) official timekeeper, EDOX, has released a special edition curling watch which is the first of its kind.

The watch, which has men’s and women’s versions, features the WCF logo on the face and an embossed curling stone on the back.

As part of the sport’s development, a portion from the sales of the watch will go to helping young curlers attend the annual WCF/DCV Hummelt Junior Curling Camp in Füssen, Germany, in August 2017.

"I am delighted to introduce the new EDOX curling branded watch," said WCF President Kate Caithness.

“EDOX, the famous Swiss watch makers are sponsors of the WCF supporting both the European and World Championships.

"This is the first watch made specially for the sport and includes the WCF logo on the face of the watch.

"It is a symbol of the precision and attention to detail required both in curling and watch making.

"I am also happy to tell you that a portion of the price of the EDOX curling watch will help young people attend our Füssen Camps, so not only will you be gaining a beautiful accessory you will be supporting the next generation of curlers."
