Russians Nadezhda Sergeeva and Alexey Stulnev were among the winners at the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF) Push World Championships in Mamaia in Romania, an event where Brazil also won medals. 

Sergeeva and brakewoman Yulia Shokshueva won the women‘s bobsleigh competition in the holiday resort on the Black Sea in an event that attracted entries from 11 countries. 

Andreea Grecu and Olivia Vild from the host country won the silver medal ahead of Germany’s Laura Nolte and Lena Zelichowski.

Stulnev and push athletes Maxim Mokrousov, Vasiliy Kondratenko and Roman Koshelev won the men's four bob event. 

The silver medals were won by the Czech Republic's Dominik Dvořák and David Egydy, Jakub Nosek and Jan Sindelar.

Brazilians Edson Bindilatti, Denis Parreira, Odirlei Pessoni and Rafael Souza won the bronze medal, rare success for the South American country in this winter sport.

Pessoni and Souza also won a bronze medal in the two-man bob, an event won by Dvořák and Jakub Havlin, who also finished ahead of Germany's Pablo Nolte and Christopher Weber.

All three medals in the men‘s Skeleton went to host nation Romania.

Mihail Enache clocked the fastest overall time ahead of team-mates Mihai Pacioianu and Dorin Velicu, the silver and bronze medallists. .

Another Romanian, Maria Mazilu, won the women‘s skeleton.

Sandra Andriainen from Sweden finished second to win the silver medal and the bronze went to Joska le Conte from The Netherlands.
