Russia's public sports channel Match TV tonight named her along with Yevgeniya Kolodko, the silver medallist in the shot put at London 2012.

The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) last Saturday (May 28) confirmed eight of the country's athletes have registered positive after the International Olympic Committtee (IOC) had announced 23 competitors from London 2012 had tested positive following re-analysis of their samples from those Games.

The situation is set to be among the lead items on the agenda when the IOC's ruling Executive Board begin three days of meetings here tomorrow. 

Beloborodova had also reportedly tested positive following a re-analysis of her sample from the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Championships at Helsinki in 2005, where she won the silver medal. 

She is likely, however, to be allowed to retain that medal because the decision by the IAAF to retrospectively disqualify her was taken in 2015, 10 years after the event when the rules at the time meant the statute of limitations was eight.

If she is found guilty of testing positive at London 2012 then she will face a lifetime ban from the sport.

The 32-year-old, known as Tatyana Lysenko until 2014, served a two-year drugs ban from 2007 to 2009 after she tested positive for steroid 6α-methylandrostenediol.

Since returning from that ban, Beloborodova has won two World Championship gold medals, at Daegu in 2011 and Moscow 2013.

If the positive test from London 2012 is confirmed, Beloborodova would also be stripped of her world title she won the following year. 

Poland's Anita Włodarczyk would be in line to be promoted to the Olympic gold medal.

Germany's Betty Heidler would be upgraded from third to the silver and China's Zhang Wenxiu from fourth to the bronze. 

Kolodko had originally finished third in the shot at London 2012 with a personal best of 20.48 metres but was upgraded to the silver medal after the winner, Belarus' Nadzeya Ostapchuk, tested positive for anabolic agent metenolone. 

That also led to New Zealand's Valerie Adams being promoted to the gold medal and China's Gong Lijiao from fourth to the bronze.

Gong is now set to be upgraded again to the silver medal with team-mate Li Ling going from fourth to bronze. 

If the positive test at London 2012 is confirmed, the 25-year-old Kolodko will also lose the silver medals she won at the 2013 European Indoor Championships in Gothenbug and the 2014 European Championships in Amsterdam. 

Kolodko, is married to Canadian shot putter Dylan Armstrong who was awarded an Olympic bronze medal last year for his performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics after Belarus' Andrei Mikhnevich was disqualified for doping.

Kolodko and Armstrong are both coached by Anatoliy Bondarchuk, winner of the Olympic gold medal in the hammer at Munich 1972 when competing for the Soviet Union. 

The names of the athletes who have tested positive at London 2012 will not be officially released until the B samples are also analysed.
