Croatia's Iva Radoš won an all-Balkan dual over reigning Olympic champion Milica Mandic of Serbia on the final day of the European Taekwondo Championships in Montreux today as Bianca Walkden became Britain's third female gold medal winner.

Walkden beat Turkey's Nafia Kuş 5-4 in the over 73 kilograms final in the Salle Omnisports Perrier in what marked a repeat of her semi-final victory over the same opponent en-route to gold at last year's World Championships in Chelyanbinsk.

The 24-year-old, who follows compatriots Lauren Williams and Jade Jones in winning gold, was more aggressive than her opponent and edged clear with decisive punches in the third round.

It marks her second European title after gold in Baku in 2014.

"I'm honoured to win here for a second time," she told BBC Sport afterwards.

"Hopefully I can become Olympic champion."

Russia's 2013 world champion Olga Ivanova and Spain's Rosanna Simon Alamo shared the two bronze medals.

Radoš, also a gold medal winner at Baku 2014, won 1-0 over Mandic in a cagey final as Petra Matjasevic of Macedonia and The Netherlands' Reshmie Oogink shared bronze.
