Pyeongchang 2018 have increased their presence on social media after they launched their official Instagram account today.

The global online and mobile platform allows users to share videos and photos, as well as network with people across the world.

The official page for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in two years’ time, the first to ever be held in South Korea, aims to bring fans closer to the event through the sharing of fun content about Pyeongchang 2018 and the host region.

It will be provided in both English and Korean languages in a bid to reach as many people as possible to generate enthusiasm for the Games.

In celebration of the launch of Pyeongchang 2018’s official Instagram page, which already has nearly 1,400 followers, organisers are holding a “Leave Your Comments” event to encourage users to promote and share the new account.

“We will make it a fun and informative channel that can build a positive momentum towards the Pyeongchang 2018 Games.”
